SEOExperience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness (E-E-A-T) are signals that Google and language models rely on. How do you build them in practice?
The acronym E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness. Google uses them in its guidelines to assess content quality, and language models increasingly use the same signals when deciding whom to trust and whom to cite. It is not a single factor you can “switch on”, but a sum of signals built over time.
At a moment when anyone can generate a thousand words in a minute, the text itself stops being scarce. What is scarce is verifiable trustworthiness – the certainty that behind the content stands someone who understands the topic and puts their name to it. Models and search engines therefore need to separate signal from noise, and they do it by authors, sources and who talks about you.
E-E-A-T is not a list of boxes to tick on a page. Adding an author name without real expertise solves nothing. It is about long-term consistency – who writes, what others say about you and how you treat the reader. That is exactly why authority cannot be bought overnight, but it can be built deliberately.
The fastest route to authority is to be mentioned where authority already is – when an established medium writes about you, you take on part of its trustworthiness. PR articles and mentions in premium media, exactly what Linketica facilitates, strengthen several E-E-A-T pillars at once: authority, trustworthiness and evidence of expertise.
